FGU Nordvestsjælland is an educational institution that offers Preparatory Basic Education (FGU) to young people who need to prepare for further education or employment. It combines academic teaching with practical work, so that students both develop personal skills and find their strengths.

The teaching is built around the three P's: practice, production and internship, which provides a hands-on approach to learning. Students can choose between different tracks such as AGU, PGU and EGU depending on their interests and goals. The education can be taken for up to two years and is offered at schools in Holbæk, Fårevejle and Svebølle. The purpose is to help the individual progress towards either a vocational education, upper secondary education or directly into the labour market.
