Kalundborg is home to Scandinavia's largest biotech industrial cluster with global companies such as Novo Nordisk and Novonesis. To meet the need for qualified labor, Campus Kalundborg has been established as a strong collaboration between education and business.
Through public-private partnerships, relevant education programs are developed and attracted so that students gain competencies that match the needs of the industry. The ambition is to strengthen Kalundborg as an international center for education, research and innovation within biosolutions – with a goal of 1.500 students by 2030.
