When you contact us

If you contact us via email, telephone or form, we process the information you provide yourself - typically name, email and possibly telephone number.

The purpose is to be able to respond to your inquiry and provide the service you have requested.

 

When you register for events

When you register for our events, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email
  • company Name

 

The purpose is to be able to:

  • manage registration
  • send practical information before and after the event
  • manage participant lists

 

We only use the information in relation to the specific event.

 

When you become a member

When a company becomes a member of the Kalundborg Regional Business Council, we register the information necessary to administer the membership, e.g.:

  • contact person's name, email and phone number
  • company name, address and CVR number

The purpose is membership administration, communication and delivery of our membership services.

 

Visibility on the member page

As part of the membership, the Kalundborg Regional Business Council offers member companies to be displayed on our website.

In this regard, we publicly display the following information:

  • Company name
  • Main phone number
  • General email address
  • Company logo
  • Link to company website

 

The purpose is to increase the visibility of our member companies and make it easier for others to find relevant companies and contact information.

The information relates to the company and is published as part of the membership. Contact information relating to an identifiable person (e.g. a named contact person) is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

If a member company wishes to make changes to the information displayed, or no longer wishes to be visible on the member page, the Kalundborg Business Council can be contacted.

Newsletters

If you sign up for our newsletter, we will process your email address (and possibly your name/company name, if you provide it yourself).

The purpose is to send you news, invitations and relevant information about our activities.
You can always unsubscribe again via the link in the newsletter.

 

Statistics and analysis

We use analytics tools to gain insight into how our website is used. This helps us improve content and functionality.

The information is used in anonymized or pseudonymized form and is only collected to the extent that you have given consent via cookies.

 

3. Who do we share your information with?

We only share your information when necessary, for example with:

  • IT and system suppliers
  • suppliers of email and newsletter systems
  • analysis tool suppliers

These suppliers process the information on our behalf and according to our instructions, and we have entered into data processing agreements where required.

We never share your personal information with others for marketing purposes.

 

4. How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information for as short a time as possible and only for as long as necessary:

  • Inquiries: typically up to 12 months after the case is concluded
  • Arrangementer: basically up to 24 months after the event is held
  • Member information: as long as the membership is active and up to 5 years after termination (including for accounting and documentation purposes)
  • Newsletters: until you unsubscribe

The information is then deleted or anonymized.

You have a number of rights under data protection regulations, including:

  • the right to access the information we have about you
  • right to have incorrect information corrected
  • the right to have your information deleted in certain cases
  • the right to object to our processing
  • the right to withdraw your consent (if the processing is based on consent)
