Many companies have a budget, a business plan and a busy everyday life. Far fewer have a forum that systematically challenges the strategy, creates focus and ensures progress. That is precisely the most important task of the professional board. The goal is to translate the board's work from formal governance to concrete value creation. 

Why even have a board of directors?

A good board of directors is not primarily a control body. It is the company's strategic sparring partner.

A professional board can contribute with:

Keld Harbo

Master of Business Administration and chairman of the board of several owner-managed companies

Keld Harbo has many years of experience in strategy, management and business development. He has been a director of a major law firm, an associate professor at the University of Southern Denmark and has held senior positions in both Danish and international companies.

Today, Keld is active on a number of boards and has been involved in around 50 boards of owner-managed small and medium-sized companies over the past 20 years.

With his broad experience from both management, consulting and board work, Keld has a keen eye for the opportunities and challenges that characterize owner-managed companies. He is particularly passionate about strengthening companies' strategy, management and business development, and about translating good ideas into concrete development.
